Rainbow Pride LGBT nailart! Love is love

Hello there!
The month of June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world.

for this reason I decided to do a rainbow/pride nail art to support this cause.

As base I used a pink nude colour that could be good on any skin tone. I wanted to use also all the colours of the rainbow flag. I used a striping to paint the base of the nail and drag the colour to the point.

The rainbow flag, commonly known as the gay pride flag or LGBT pride flag, is a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) pride and LGBT social movements. Other older uses of rainbow flags include a symbol of peace. The colors reflect the diversity of the LGBT community, as the flag is often used as a symbol of gay pride during LGBT rights marches. While this use of the rainbow flag originated in Northern California’s San Francisco Bay Area, the flag is now used worldwide.

for stamping I used a stamping plate from Born Pretty Store from the Artist Collection L004 id product # 46154

You can use my coupon code RASX31 for 10% off on www.bornprettystore.com

I tought this plate was perfect for this theme because it is very minimalistic and has many designs that can rapresent concept such as love, respect and freedom.

My favourite designs are the two arms and hands close to each other that I used on the middle finger and two faces kissing.

Also the design I picked for the thumb was very symbolic:two overlapping faces that form the shape of an heart.

Last good day of the year! Last summer buttlerfly nail art! Nicole diary stamping plate

Hello,
today last day of summer I would like to share a colourful and summery nail art!

I used an amazing plate form Nicole Diary. It is part of the Tattoo Collection. The entire collection is amazing, the designers did an amazing job choosing and putting together each plate

The number 1 has a series of skulls and skeletons mixed with flowers and spiders, (I really regret not ordering this one too because it would have been perfect for  Halloween), number 2 and 3 are the ones that I got and I will show you in this post and in the following ones, number 4 features a series of flowers leaves and  tribal, number 5 features some beautiful geometric and abstract designs, it has a great boho vibe.

Now it is time to show you my favourite one:
Plate number 02 and you can find it at this link:
http://www.nicolediary.com/nicole-diary-rectangle-stamping-plate-tattoo-series-girl-butterfly-rose-nail-image-plate-p-330.html

NICOLE DIARY is a fashion-based nail art brand founded in 2011 by "NICOLE", she believes that"creativity is the key note of all perfect nail arts". They offer free shipping worldwide and prices and products quality seems to be excellent.

It takes 2 or 4 weeks but the shipping time depends on your country.
Don't forget to use my coupon code for 10% off LAPI10 on www.nicolediary.com
There is a wide range of water decals and designs, I am sure you will find the right one for you.

As you can see from the pictures this plate is very one of a kind, most designs show the figure of girls mixed with nature elements or animals.

Most images are a fusion between a girl face and a butterfly. I think this theme was perfect for the last day of summer.   To Native Americans, the butterfly is a symbol of change, joy and color. The exquisite butterfly was considered a miracle of transformation and resurrection. Butterflies have such a magical presence They're so graceful and beautiful, it always lights me up seeing them.

As base I added some random light colours, I wanted to create a rainbow effect, then I coated with a bubble effect top coat. It gives a pearlescent effect. Then I stamped with a pigmented blue from Kiko.

To Save unicorns! Unicorn nail stickers review

Hello!
In my post you will find just one unicorn nailart!
Why just one Laura? Why??!! Tell us Laura why??
Ok, ok calm down!
I don't know why... Unicorns are cool, I am doing another one!

The unicorn is a legendary creature, in European folklore, it is often depicted as a white horse-like or animal with a long horn, it is a symbol of purity and grace. The first images of unicorns were far more different from the glittery and colourful creature that we know.

The unicorn trend stated in the 80s with cartoon and related merchandise and now it is back in 2018 and I think we reached the peak of this trend. Starbucks released a very pink and sugary frappucino, shops are full of clothes related items, stationery, food, make up, slime, emoji and even toilet paper with unicorns.

Instagram boasts 8.4 millions photos tagged with the hashtag #unicorn  and most of them are nails!

Unicorn nails have been a big trend too. The newest idea is to emboss an actual unicorn horn onto your nail with gel polish. But this can be quite difficult and pricy.

I have a very nice and low cost alternative to this:

these unicorn stickers from the online shop To Save.

You can choose between two different designs or pick them both.
I choose the most colourful one, the other one is more "Old style Unicorns" and it is very cute as well!

Sheet measures  10.2cm X 8cm and contains varoius nail stickers featuring full unicorns, unicorn heads, pattern diamond, rainbows, stars, muffins, hearts, bows, letters.

These nail stickers are super simple to use and you can have an amazing nail design in minutes.

To apply:
peel the design from the sheet and place it on to dry nails making sure the stickers is completely stuck down and finish with a topcoat polish.

Since we are talking about unicorns I created a rainbow gradient base with a fun brush and then I added some iridescent flakes.

Born Pretty Store Chamelion nail polish M12 Destiny Fairy

Today I have another wonderful BornPretty nail polish to show you.
I am always looking for some interesting and altering texures to try and this nail polish is really amazing.
The shade it's called Destiny Fairy M12 and I can see why they gave it this name: because it has beautiful sparkling flakies that shift from green to purple and blue, the effect under the sun light is amazing almost magic!

This polish has a twin, a regular (non flakies) metallic duo chrome polish.

You can find both at this link:

   http://www.bornprettystore.com/born-pretty-chameleon-nail-polish-eternal-life-destiny-fairy-sequins-nail-lacquer-varnish-p-39972.html

I thought this polish would look great with another flakie one from the same brand.
This one:
http://www.bornprettystore.com/born-pretty-chameleon-nail-polish-eternal-hope-shining-princess-sequins-nail-lacquer-varnish-p-39973.html

I used Destiny Fairy on the tip of some black stiletto nails. I applied two coats (dab for a better effect). On the other half of the nails (only one coat).

In this way a creted a beautiful rainbow effect, I love it because the mix of these shades capture every shade of the spectrum.

These kin of polishes are a nice thing to try especially if you are a beginner. This is a fun nail art easy to do and that will make your nails pop and draw attention.
I hopo you like it!

Chamelion nail polish! Magic in a bottle!

Hello!
Today I am here to review this fantastic nail polish from Born Pretty Store. The company sent me some products to review.
They recently created a new version of their site to give their customers a better shopping exprerience and optimized functions. I really like their new simple chic design and I suggest you to take a look at it! www.bornprettystore.com

This is the most beautiful polish I have ever seen. It is magic in one bottle. The polish is made up by a clear base with some chamelion flakes. The shade shift from magenta/ red, copper to a green jade, yellow and blue it depends on the light.
In the sun light it brights a lot and the shade of the glitter flakes shifts, it looks like a rainbow!

For these kind of nail polished you have to use a base, better if it is a dark one. For this nail art I used a black polish and two coats of the chamelion shade. Then I used a glossy top coat to seal the colour.

You can find it at this link for 4.99 product code # 39974
http://www.bornprettystore.com/born-pretty-chameleon-nail-polish-romantic-heart-fiery-love-sequins-nail-lacquer-varnish-p-39974.html

The polish comes in a nice bottle that contains 9 ml of products, as you can seen from the picture the brush is quite large and easy to use.
The best way to apply it is with a dabbing motion like any other glitter polish.

I used even for some diy project to create some unique jewelry. Here are some examples:

All over holo!

Let's be honest some days in a life are shitty as hell and in those days you need an extra sparkle.
Something able to capture every ray of light and trasform it in a beautiful rainbow!
What am I talking about? Love? Wine? Xanax?
Nahhhh! Holo powder!

The Holo powder that I used for these nails is from www.bornprettystore.com
You can find it at this link
http://www.bornprettystore.com/holographic-glitter-powder-holo-glitter-dust-powder-manicure-nail-decoration-p-36930.html

for only 1.99 in different glitter sizes, the one I have is the finest one. It would be wonderful to try the bigger glitter too, maybe next time!

The holo dust comes in a transparent plastic container with the capacity of 3 gr.
It is very hard to capture with a camera the shifting magic of these kind of products! I don't know why but holo is very hard to get with full focus images so you need to take pictures or videos with the main subject out of focus.
You can believe me, under the sun light this powder is amazing.
I used a torch to show you the rainbow shifting in this video:

I used the powder over a holographic nail polish, I applied it only on the tip of the nails with a make up sponge.
Here is a small video tutorial:

Is your life still messed up? Yes?! But your nails are fabulous!
