Triangle Tip Nail Brush review

Hello!
Today I have something different to share with you: a triangle tip nail brush.
I think this brush is specific for 3d acrylic decoration for example to shape petals or leaves, but I don't use acrylic or gel decorations,

I chose this brush for its fine tip, I think it can work well for basic or detailed nail art, with nail polishes or acrylic paint.
The brush is kept in a clear plastic tube, In my opinion this is a fantastic idea because I always have troubles in finding the right way to store all my brushes. Moreover it has another plastic protection for the bristles.

The colour is a nice pink and even the bristles are white and pink. The hair fiber is nylon so it's veg and cruelty free.
At first the briste appair a bit rigid but when you wet it it became more flexible and the tip very thin.

In my opinion this brush is very versatile because you can create thin or thick lines but I think it's perfect to draw flowers and leaves, mixing different shades in one stroke.
It's very easy to clean, if you use acrylic paint you can wash it with water and a delicate soap.

This item was kindly offered by Born Pretty Store.

Flower pattern nail art!

Hi guys!
it's time for a new nail art!
This one is really easy and quick because I used some water decals from Born Pretty Store.
The company kindly send me some items.

This flower pattern is gorgeous, the shades shift from burgundy, red and orange, it has a touch of green too. the background is sheer so you can pair it with a lot of other colours, I chose the white because I wanted to show the perfection of this design but you can wear it with a peach pink, light green, beige or a yellow too.

You will receive a sheet with two different prints ( I will use the other one for another nail art). You have enough decals for covering all your ten nails. These declas are too beautiful I didn't want to use them all for only one manis so I used the dacals for two accent nails.
These decals are very thin and you can stretch them a bit so that the design will follow tha natural curve of you nails.
If don't know how to apply them you can read this post.
On the rest of the nails I did a degradè using some matching shades.

I hope you'll like it!

Tribal nude nails!

Hello there!
today I would like to review another product from Born Pretty Store .
It's a tribal pattern water decal sheet.

Tribal or ethnic prints have become a trend in fashion clothing, nail art and home decor. I appreciate this trend because it gives the possibility of a delicate transition between traditional and modern style. I love to wear colourful geometric pattern on my nails in summer but I think this black and white decoration is gorgeous in winter too.

If you order this product you will receive an entire sheet of water decals, the pattern is very particular, it reminds me of an aztec drawing in black with a white background. The white background is not sheer at all, this means that you can use it with a dark base too.

The designs are in different sizes, if you want you can use the large one to cover an entire nail or cut the sheet and play with your imagination like I did in this nail art.

I have cut some stripes horizontally and placed them on the nails leaving some space.

Once you have cut the design you have to remove the plastic top.
This step is very important because if you don't remove the plastic film you will have an unusable water decal.
Soak the piece of the pattern in water for few seconds and then remove the decal off the backing.

Place it on the nail, smooth the surface and be careful, you might create some air bubbles. It's a good tip to dab the eccess of water with a tissue (or you can blow dry).
Seal the design with a clear top coat.
You can cut the eccess of the decal with some scissors or remove it carefully with a small brush and some nail polish remover.

I decided to use a pink nude shade as base, but I think this decals will look good on dark polish too.

I added some triangular 3d decorations in gold and bright pink and matched the look with a midi-ring.

Let me know what do you think about this nail art!

Laura

Elegant coffin nails with pearl decorations

Hello!
Few days ago I found a surprise in my mail box! The online shop Born Pretty Store send me some products to try and show you.
The first item I would like to show are the mini peal 3d nail decoration. They came in a nice container, you will have approx. 120 pieces in 3 different sizes 2 mm/3 mm / 4 mm.

As you can see form the pictures the back is flat so they are very easy to apply. You can place it on the nail and use some drops of clear nail polish as glue. If you wear false nails you can go through nail glue too. Don't forget to seal your creations with top coat, so the studs will last longer.

This pearls are very elegant. Under the sun light they are iridescent and the fact that you have a wide range of sizes makes their use versatile.

In this nail art I wanted to create a chic and delicate effect.
For the nails I used the ballerina or coffin shape. For the shades I picked a matt dark blue (Kiko Velvet Satin 697 Midnight Blue) and a pearl pink for the accent nails.
While the nail polish was still wet I applied the studs with a dotting tool (if you don't have it, no problem you can use a toothpick and some clear nail polish). I placed the pearls on the bottom side of the nails and mixing all the sizes available.

I hope you enjoyed this review and this nail art!
