Yellon Neon polish from Born Pretty Store

 Hello there,
In the last post I made a nailart using a polish from the Born Pretty Store collection as a stamping polish.
This time I would like to show you the same collection used as a normal polish.
id code #B07TLM6PR5 here you find the direct link to buy.

I prefer using neon polishes over white polish because the colour will result more vivid and vibrant.
Under natural light this yellow looks very nice, it is a cool toned yellow.
The formula is quite thin and flexible, it does not leave stripes and colour has full opacity and full coverage in one or two coats.

Under a Uv light the colour appear fluorescent and with a touch of green.

There are others 8 shades to choose yellow, green, red, orange, violet, coral, pink and purple.
You can order them at this link:

make sure you will grab one before Halloween!

Neon Pollock effect! Neon collection from Born Pretty Store

Hello!
I have recently received a pr package full of Born Pretty Store new polishes.
They are all from the Neon collection.
The first shade I would like to show you is a bright green.
The colour is very saturated and pigmented. The formula allows you to make opaque and clean images when you transfer them on nails.
It can be used as a normal polish or as a stamping polish.

It is fluorescent under uv lights.
This colour is code FS02 ID code #B07TLM6PR5

The colour is very vibrant under natural light and it is even better under uv light. If you are planning  a night out on the dancefloor these polishes are a must!
For this nail art I used two colour fron this collection, the green and the yellow.

I mixed them on the plate and then I stamped on the white base.

For stamping I used this stamping plate, I thought that this plate would be perfect for these colours.
I picked the designs that looked like an abstract painting. I thought that a Neon Pollock could be the perfect stile for showing these shades.
The plate is stamping plate L079 Harunouta id code #46675

Zodiac stamping plate!What's your sign?

Do you believe in astrology? I am pretty skeptical about this but I must admit I fit in the pisces stereotipe good qualities: imaginative, kind, sympathetic and the bad ones too: secretive, indecisive, lazy.

This being said, I find a zodiac stamping plate a great idea, it has stars and constellations (my favourite subject for a nailart!) and you can make very personal and customize nailart with your sign, ascendant, or your partner one.

This plaite is the Harunouta Nail Stamping Plate id code # 46677
The plate is made of high quality stainless steal which ensure the high quality of the product.
Deep and precise carving give  better stamping effect than normal stamping plates.
It has two images for each sign, one more stilized, just an outlined drawing and the other ones a full figure. It has the constalation for each sign and also some sky and universe related images.

For stamping I used BP-WT04 called "The noon sunshine". It is the perfect "blue Tiffany shade" a light blue with a touch of green. Very delicate and bright at the same time.

Here it is how it looks if used as a normal polish, still gorgeous!

Spider gel! So fun!

Hello!
Today I would like show a very unique product!
The company Born Pretty Store contacted me in order to try some brand new products on their collection.
I wanted to try the spider gels so I give it a go, they have it in many colours: silver, blue, white, gold red and black the one I got. The brand is Nicole Diary and the id code is # 46022.

You can also use my coupon code RASX31 for 10% discount

The product came in a pot with the brand name and the colour, It looks like a really thick gel, and then when you put a little toothpick or something in it, you can draw out a string of the stuff, and drape the gel on the nail. You can draw the finest lines and create geometric designs or you can create some random lines and your nails are instantly transformed in a modern art masterpiece.

You can use a dotting tool and when you took a bit of product it forms a line, it can be thicker or smaller depending of how much product do you use.

Almost an invisible line here. You can strecht it a lot.

It is a gel so you need a UV lamp to use it.
You have to use it over a cured base and a no wipe top coat, don't make the mistake I made to use it over a wet base (the lines will broke and flow, which an interesting effect but not the desired one).
I have decided to apply a no wipe soak off top coat over it.

Just before the spider gel decoration I used some iridescent # 41059 and crome flakies (id # 40147) from Born Pretty Store

I am really curious to try other colours, maybe the metallic ones

Marble effect, super easy with stamping!

Hello!
Marble trend is  a thing!
Marble design has been enjoying a moment in the design and fashion spotlight for a little while now.  Marble’s use in architecture, art, and design dates for thousands of years to early Egyptian and Mesopotamian cultures.
The use of the marble stone has been reinventing from architecture, interiors, furniture, lighting, art, homeware, and clothing to styling. Nothing material speaks sophistication and luxury as marble.
Nailartists also gave this new trend a try!

Italian architecture and sculpture is full of marble stone so I had plenty of inspiration.

Most marble stone nail art are handpainted. I have to be honest I had a lot of fun  hand painting marble stone on nails, it is one of my favourite free hand designs but it is very time consuming and you are never sure what really will it look like untill the end.

This year many brands created some stamping plates with botanical or natural designs and al least one or two were expecially made for marble designs.

When I saw on the Born Pretty Store online shop this stamping plate from Harunouta I thought I wanted to have it!
They were so kind to send me some product to test and show you.

As you can see from the picture the plate has a wide range of patterns, 14 patterns that go from the famous water marble effect, to a geometric intricate lines design. Some of them remind me of modern art and paint dripping but most of them are prefect to layer and recreate marble designs with foliate veins and swirls for a naturally elegant manicure.
You can use different colours for endless possibilities, you can layer some of them to give your art some dimensions and variances.

I decided to use a delicate pink as base and then add some sheer white and some more pigmented white. As final touch I added some gold and rose gold veins.

I have made two versions one with a glossy top coat. The amazing No smudge top coat from Born Pretty Store.

And the other one with a matte top coat.

I hope you'll love this!
