New Born Pretty Store nail polish! New bottle New Collection

Today I am sharing a review on a new nail polish from Born Pretty Store.
This polish is available on their website since June 6 and I was sent this shade to try out. This polish is called Young BP-FS03 and it is part of the collection Flower in Sunshine series.

This was sent to me because Born Pretty Store has lauched a new packaging bottle and some new shades. The bottle is very cute and elegant, it contains 6 ml of product, the brush holder is black with gold details and the logo on the bottle is in gold too.
This collection "Flower in sunshine" is defined as a mermaid shell glimmer.

The shade that I have is a beautiful duochrome from blue to purple with a lot of holographic glitters. the effect is really amazing. The shade is quite sheer so I tought that the best use of this nail polish was as a topper. I was also curious to know how this shade would turn on different colour bases.

This is how the shade looks on purple. I love how it turned out. It  enhanced the base colour and added a glittery finish.

This is how it looks on black. Of course the result is darker and more galaxy like. The glitter gives a grany surface that caputre the light but if you dont like it you can use a glossy top coat.
I only did one coat over a base colour.

Comic's love! Born Pretty Store stamping plate review BP-L005

I have another stamping plate to show you, this one is from Born Pretty Store.
With the popularity of superhero movies and Comic-Con, comic-themed nail art is a playful new trend. I really like comics inspired nails, they're modern, a bit nerd, colourful and remind me of Pop Art. 

I own already some comic inspired stamping plates, you can see post here and here.

I like making my nails look like the pages of famous comic books. It is a nice way to create my own, unique story.
Born Pretty is enlarging  the stamping collection each week with some new and amazing products.
This plate in particular BP-L005 Valentine's Day and love in general, but it can also be used to celebrate a friendship or bachelorette parties.

The plate comes in an elegant paper sleeve.  The stainless steel plate measures 6.5 x 12.5cm and have a vinyl backing for increased ease of use. The designs are engraved on to the image plate and covered with a protective film which needs to be removed before use.

It has 12 designs that can fit larger and longer nails, each measures 2,5 x 1,8 cm.
The first 6 designs are abstract pattern with hearts, lines, stripes, lips, written like love, kiss and hugs.
The second 6 designs are images of couples, kissing, hugging and share precious moments.

 For this nail art I started with a white base then I added a watercolour painting with yellow, green and pink/red. I stamped with a regular nail polish. I did not use a stamping polish because I think that a regular one will give the effect of a real print, with some parts ligher or missing.

Nude nails with iridescent sequins from Born Pretty Store

You already know that I love this set, I found it so versatile and useful. I was curious to try this on a nude colour and I can say I find it amazing, such a delicate and precious touch to a normal nail style.

You can use this with uv gel or normal polishes; with normal polishes you have to make more than one coat of clear topper to make sure the sequins are in place.
I mixed all the sequins in this set and I really love the result! I think this nail art will look great with a matte top coat too!

You can use these sequins for decorations and your diy project to decorate your home, cell phone's case, glasses, made card, body art and make up.

I decided to pair this nail look with a clear lip gloss, I used some of these sequins on the lips too.

I love the shapes and the fact that they come in different colours and sizes. The sequins are quite sheer with an iridescent sheen and tone that makes them appear different over different colours.  I think that the shades included can cover all the color spectrum.

It is very easy to apply them:
 You can apply them over a layer of wet nail polish, in this case a chose a black shade and set them in place with another layer or two of clear top coat.
The application was very easy because I used this great new tool: a white wax pencil expecially designed to pick up gems, rhinestones, sequins.
The larger sequins are a bit harder to use because they don’t bend to the curvature of your nails, you can try to shape them before or  add more layers of clear top coat just to be sure.

Half moon spring nail art! Water decals from Born Pretty Store

Today another nail art featuring some Born Pretty Store products, I've worked with them in the past and I love their nail products, they are affordable and their quality is amazing.
I really liked the set of floral water decals, there are 12 pattern in all colours and styles.
I picked design number A1378  a mix of colourful flowers and butterflies, these colours reminds me of summer or a sunny day in a country side. As you can see from pictures all designs are beautiful and extremely detailed. You won't be disappointed with them. 

The application is very easy.
The waterdecals are protected by a transparent sheet. You can select the size and the design you want, cut it with a scissor. Don't forget to remove the plastic sheet. Cut out the section of decals, and let it soak in room temperature water for about 20-30 seconds, slide the decals off the paper backing with tweezers and place on the nails with the white or nude base coat
The instructions suggest to place it on  the nail and blow dry. The last step is to secure it with clear nail polish. In my case with a glossy top coat.

I decided to do a halfmoon cut, cutting a curved shape at the base of the water decal. Then I added some silver studs with a bit of clear polish and a dotting tool.

I love water dacals because they are an easy and fast way to switch your nail look form normal to fancy. The big advantage of water decals is how thin they are. They lay flat on the nails and once you apply top coat everything is smooth. You can see from this closer look that they are completely seamless, with no wrinkles, bumps, or lines.


I decided to use first the ones with roses and daises. This pattern has beautiful pastels colours, and very nice details of petals and leaves.I used them on a white base because it is the best option for light decals.
