Today I would like to show you a new nailart.

A new mail from Born Pretty Store arrived and I am very hapy about it.

If you follow my blog you might already know that I have tried Geode nails more than once because I like rocks and crystals. 

I had to di it free hand and it took very long, but now Nicole Diary has a new stamping plate with multiple geode designs and marbles.

According to wikipedia geode are geological secondary structures which occur in certain sedimentary and volcanic rocks. They are themselves of sedimentary origin and are formed by chemical precipitation. 

I think the designs of the plate are really well done and the best way to get a realistic result.

I love the fact that the plate offers so many combinations, there are full pattern to paint on the entire nail and some smaller elements such as geometric figures. These can be combined into two layers where you stamp a plain colour and then you add the marble design on top of it.

For this nail art I also use thi polish as stamping polish and then I added flakes and gold paint.

Holographic nail polish from Beauty Big Bang

The bottle contains 8 ml, the formula is quite watery but easy to apply and dres really fast!


I love the fact that it is sheer and you can use as a top coat too. I think this will look good on dark colours such as black or dark burgundy. I think holographic polish look their best with a glossy clear top coat!
You will need 2 or 3 coats for a full coverage. It is stunning under natural direct light.

Now it is the time to show you a passepartout: a black stamping polish!

One of the biggest tips out there for successfully mastering the art of stamping is to invest in top quality nail stamping polish.
The general rule is if the polish is thick and can be applied with almost full-coverage in one coat, it’ll probably work well as a nail stamping polish.
Having a good black stamping polish can unlock you the doors of the heaven of nail stamping. It is a colour that you can use almost over any colour and it perfect for advanced stamping technique because it creates the perfect outlines for any coloured design.
For this reason the stamping polish you choose has to be perfect.

As you can see from this picture this nail polish is excellent, long-lasting, chip-resistant with supersaturated colour pigments. 
It is from Born Pretty Store called Throne BP-WN03 # 42857 . It has an excellent consistency. You will get one cute bottle that has the capacity of approx. 6ml.

This is the third colour I try from this collection from Born Pretty Store and I think they are the best stamping polishes I tired so far, The lines are perfect.

They also sent me some tool for removal and the magnet for the cat eye nail polish, the shipping was super fast, the packaging box is very elegant, there were also instruction on how to use the products.

It was my first time with gel polishes and I had no problem at all, everything worked perfectly, the process was simple and fast.

The first shade I would like to show you is and amazing cat eye gel polish "Galactic Mist".


It is a magnetic nail polish, a new trend in nail design that uses iron filings in the polish that respond to a magnet to form different shapes and effects on the surface of the nail. You need a magnet to make it work so please don't forget to buy one.

On the Madam Glam website, they suggest to apply the gels on a black base. I actually  applied the gel on some dark burgundy tips and the result was amazing.

I really like the formula, it is very pigmented the iron particles are quite dense, so they usually sink to the base layer of the polish as it’s applied. When you place the magnet over the nail, the iron particles rise toward the surface and stay there due to the curing effect of the UV lamp.

Compared to others normal magnet polishes I think the cat eye effect is a lot more visible and effective.
I really like the colours, the base is a blue tones purple  and the iron filing pigment is a golden orange. The magic galaxy in a bottle is here, it really looks like a bound system of stars, stellar remnants, interstellar gas, dust, and dark matter. I think this affect is amazing and I am never tired of looking at it!

These are the instructions on their site:

Instructions:
1. After base coat applied and cured apply one layer of black gel polish and cure.
2.Shake your Cat Eye bottle
3. Apply one layer of your cat eye color. DO NOT CURE!
4. Hold the magnet stick close to the nail in the position where you want the 3D effect
5. Once you have the effect you want, cure under LED (30sec.) or UV Lamp (2min.)
6. Apply top coat and cure. Your Cat Eye Nails are ready with an awesome 3D effect.
 You can create multiple effects by repeating the steps and holding the magnet in different positions over your nails.

I used an amazing plate form Nicole Diary. It is part of the Tattoo Collection. The entire collection is amazing, the designers did an amazing job choosing and putting together each plate

The number 1 has a series of skulls and skeletons mixed with flowers and spiders, (I really regret not ordering this one too because it would have been perfect for  Halloween), number 2 and 3 are the ones that I got and I will show you in this post and in the following ones, number 4 features a series of flowers leaves and  tribal, number 5 features some beautiful geometric and abstract designs, it has a great boho vibe.

As you can see from the pictures this plate is very one of a kind, most designs show the figure of girls mixed with nature elements or animals.

Most images are a fusion between a girl face and a butterfly. I think this theme was perfect for the last day of summer.   To Native Americans, the butterfly is a symbol of change, joy and color. The exquisite butterfly was considered a miracle of transformation and resurrection. Butterflies have such a magical presence They're so graceful and beautiful, it always lights me up seeing them.

As base I added some random light colours, I wanted to create a rainbow effect, then I coated with a bubble effect top coat. It gives a pearlescent effect. Then I stamped with a pigmented blue from Kiko.
