Aurora powder in yellow from Born Pretty Store

Hello,

today I would like to show you another product from Born Pretty Store.

It is an iridescent powder I have already tried before, but I was curious to try it in another colour, this bright yellow is perfect for Holydays.

You can use my coupon code

RASX31 for 10% off on www.bornprettystore.com

The powder I used in this nailart is in the colour CH-04

Id product #47413

I have decided to try it over a french manicure so that the effect would be more visible.

It very easy to use.

After the french manicure with gel polishes I used a no wipe transparent top coat and cured it under a uv lamp.

Then I used a make up sponge to apply the powder, it created an iridescent glossy effect. Brush off excess powder.

The last step is to secure the nailart with another layes of no wipe top coat.

I was right to try this colour too, the yellow over pink looks amazing!

Mermaid nails polish from Beauty big bang!

 Hello there!
welcome back to my blog!
I have received a nail mail from Beauty Big Bang, the company kindly sent me some product to try and review from you.

I really like iridescent and pearlescent colours or top coat so I was amazed to find a mermaid/shell collection on their site.

There are four different shades available and they are all very beautiful, all very summery. Each shade has a unique combination of colour and shimmer, the pearl finish reminds of sea shells and undersea  magic creatures.
The one I got is shade 3A and you can find it here. It is a rose gold/pearl sort of shade, id code J6499TM-3A
They are super affordable at just 2,23 euro each for 9ml of product.

What makes these nail polishes so beautiful is the fact they have a delicate two-toned formula. At first just looking at the bottle it is hard to tell, but once you try them you will see how amazing they are!
The formula is not stricky compared to others similar polish, of course you have to pay a little more attention when you apply it. It has a big rounded brush, my favourite, so it help the application a lot.
The colour is meant to be a bit sheer but you will have a full coverage with two or three coats.

I think this shade is great for somebody  who likes a coloured nail style but doesn’t want anything too bold or want to a chic twist to a natural manicure. Under a natural light it can shift from a vivid pink to a more gold pearl nude.

They can be used alone for a subtle, shimmery nail, or they can be painted over white or black nail varnish for a completely different look!

Using them over different colours will  transform the base colour, in these pictures I did some tries over some of my favourite colours:

As you can see the gold rose shade is visible on any colours and more vivid on darker colours. I think the shade became more gold on red base colours. The result was very surprising on blue and purples, I think this is a combo that I will try soon!

Freehand abstract nail art with striping brush from Born Pretty Store

Hello!
as promised another nail art and another review for Born Pretty Store .

I decided to try again a different striping brush with a dual ended dotting tool: 2 Way Plastic Dotting & Liner Brush Pen  id # 8790  . This time a did a more simpler a free hand design. I decided to use this brush with nail polishes to see how it worked.

The structure of the pencil is very simple and sturdy, it is in white plastic with blue details. The striping brush is a bit more thick that the one I used in this post, that's why I decided to use it with nail varnish.

The bush bristles look very flexible and durable, after the nail art I cleaned it with nail polish remover and water, it came back exactly as before.

The company was kind enough to offer a 10% discount to my readers. Just use promo code RASX31  during checkout. Shipping is free on all orders as well!

On the other end the pencil has a medium sized dotting tool, so I thought it would be a good idea to use them combined and see if I can create a nail art.

I started with a matte black base then a randomly added some lines across the nails. The trick is to dip the brush once in the polish and move rapidly onto the nail.
I used a glittery duo chorme from an old limited collection from Kiko, it shift form iridescent blue to purple. It gives the lines a nice shading, Then I added to dots with a dotting tool, I used a Born Pretty Store nail polish that I really love: it is called Only you and it is from the Transparent Shell Glimmer collection you can find it here .

It is a delicate purple with a delicate yellow duochrome: Only you.
The most interesting thing about these polishes is that they give different effect on different colours on black it looks like and iridescent purple/pink.
