Essence Hello Foil
Born Pretty Store Silver Chrome  mirrro powder
Born Pretty Store Gold Chrome mirror powder
Born Pretty store Chameleon powder n° 682
Little Ondine Clear base and top coat

The cuticle guard liquid tape was kindly sent to my by the Born Pretty Store shop.
I've never had somenthing like this before. I tought that for this kind of nail art a liquid tape is very useful and time saving.
You can apply it on arean that you want to be clean and free from polish.
You let it dry for about 5-7 minutes. At this point you can do you nail art, stamping, marbling, apply glitter, anything you want and peel of the liquid tape (as you in the video) and in a few second your cuticle area is clean.
It is odor free and there are several shades to choose, I piked a pastel pink.
I suggest you to do a thin layer, if you use too much product it would flake.

I hope you liked the video!

Lace and pink nails art

Today's nail art is inspired by lace and intricated designs.
As you know I have an affiliation with the online store Born Pretty Store.
I was very excited to try one of their new stamping plates (plate number BPL-027).

You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com

The stainless plate measures 6,5 x 12,5 cm and has a white vinyl backing for increased ease of use.
Each plate comes in its own branded protective paper sleeve. The designs are well engraved onto the plate and covered with a blue protective film which needs to be removed before use.
For stamping I used the new Born Pretty Store jelly stamper, it is my favourite at the moment.

Here is a small video to show you the plate and the stamper.

As you can see, the plate has ten designs, 4 are bigger and square (3 cm x 3 cm), these are the best for longer or larger nails or for toe nails. These four designs show optical and kaleidoscopic patterns.

It's very easy to use this plates. Herre there is another short video and stamping demonstration.

The other six designs on the plate are a bit smaller 1,7 x 2,3 cm and display arabesque and elegant compositions.

That's why I had the idea of the lace nail art.

As base I used a sheer black polish. You can buy one or do it yourself mixing a clear nail polish and a few drops of a black nail polish.
Then I stamped the image on the nail with a regular black nail polish. I painted the rest of the nails with a dusty pink colour and I added a little pink stud on one accent nail.

That's all for now!

Best wishes,

Laura

White minimal ring set and white and watercolours stiletto nails

Hi guys!
it's time for another nail'n'hand match!

This wonderful ring set is from Born Pretty Store, they let me choose some jewelry from their online store.
I was really facinated by this minimal cut-out stile!
If you love the stacked look of midi rings but have hard time fitting small hands, this is the set for you. Each piece can be adjust to about a full size smaller or larger while maintening the integrity of the design.

You will get 4 rings, all different in sizes and design. Some have three or two lines and one (my favourite) has the shape of the infinity symbol,

Here is the link where you can buy it: http://www.bornprettystore.com/4pcsset-white-hollow-rings-simple-design-opening-ring-fashion-jewelry-decoration-p-34513.html

I think that this minimal and simple style makes them quite versatile. You can use only one ring or layer more for an edgy look.
I've worn this set several times, the material is sturd and resistant to corrosion, the color don't fade or chip, they are ideal for every day wearing.

The set is even more beautiful in person, I've never seen anything like this, the color is a very satinated white.
I wanted to keep this essential look with the nail art, so I wore some white stiletto nails with two accent nails. On these two nails I planned to recreate the effect of some watercolor paint on a white canvas,
I hope you'll like it!
Thanks for reading,

Silver and blue geometric nail art!

Hi again!

As I promised you, here is a special nail art tutorial for you!
I had pretty much fun with this one, I used a ring set (see previous post) as my main inspiration!

The two main colours are blue and silver.

I wanted to recreate the geometric design that are engraved on the rings.
I love geometric patterns but they are really hard to draw free hand, you need a steady hand and plenty of time to work on it.
So I end up using this wonderful plate from Born Pretty Store that I have already reviewd in this post.

For the best result I suggest you to use a clear jelly stamper so you will be sure to place the image exactly on the center of the nail and the gometric look won't be ruined.

I used the lates Clear Jelly stamper from Born Pretty Store.

The company send it to me for a review. It is 3.9 cm in diameter. It has a clear and resistant horder  and it comes with a plastic flexible scraper.
I can say with no doubt that it is best I have tried so far.

The first thing I noticed about this stamper is that it has a cap, this is a great idea because it is easier to store it, I'm always worried to damage the jelly head. It is a clear marshmallow head, very big and soft and it covers even longer and larger nails.
The most important suggestion I have for this kind of stamper is: "please do not primer it". You don't have to file it or mattify it with pure acetone otherwise you will make clear head foggy and unclear,
In my opinion the best way to clean it is with the help of some tape.

I've filmed some small videos that show you how this stamper works, how it picks up the image and transfers the design on the nail. It works perfectly.

I added a couple of rhinestones and studs similar to ones in the ring set.

I hope you like it!

Best wishes,

Laura

Boho ring set and matching nail art!

Hello!
I've got a super nail mail this month! Why is this super? Because I've got a surprise!

I have a collaboration with Born Pretty Store for nail supplies but this time they were so kind to let me try some of their wonderful jewelry products.
So I tought it was a good idea creating a matching look for nails and rings.

It was really hard to choose; on their shop www.bornprettystore.com this company has a large variety of accessories, from ring set to body jewelry and even bridal head pieces. Prices are very affordable and quality is good
.
The product that I want to show you today is a rings set, it includes 8 rings in different sizes and designs. You don't have to worry about sizing because you have eight to choose from, some can be worn as midi (knuckle rings). The bigger has a diameter of 1.8 cm and the smalles 1,4 cm.

You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com

I think these kind of sets are fun, stilish and great to pair with other rings and bracelets.
All rings are in an antique silver color, they have different shapes and designs.
I love the mix of geometrical shapes to abstract and tribal engraved designs.
The vibrant blue stone and the white crystal make them even more precious.

This set was the inspiration of a matching nail art that I am wearing in pictures.
Stay tuned for the tutorial!

p.s.I also did a little tutting video! Finger dance! :-)

Geometric nail art

Hi!

Just a short up date to show you how quick and easy nail art is with these wonderful geometric water decals from Born Pretty Store

                                            Decals Transfer Sticker BPY04

You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com

You get 2 different pattern with one sheet. I picked this one because I am very fascinated by geometrical and abstract designs and I think that these kind of pattern are very hard to draw in free hand and even more difficult to get with stamping nail art.

One design reminds me some sixties optical art or wallpapers while the other  is clearly inspired to Mondrian paintings. That's the main reason I wanted to try this one first!

The colors are great, red, orange, black. When the sticker separates from the paper backing you can clearly see that the white parts are transparent and the other are quite sheer. That's why these kind of decals works perfectly on white, nude, or light colours but the design is less visible on black or darker colours.

The application is very easy.
The waterdecals are protected by a transparent sheet. You can select the size and the design you want, cut it with a scissor. Don't forget to remove the plastic sheet. Cut out two section of decals, and let them soak in room temperature water for about 20-30 seconds, slid the decals off the paper backing with tweezers and place on the nails with the white or nude base coat
The instructions suggest to place it on  the nail and blow dry. The last step is to secure it with clear nail polish.
