Dry flowers nail art!

This summer my passion for floral patter and motif went even crazier.
I loved the floral print 90s revival or the boho chic version for dresses and accessories.
If head-to-toe flower prints aren’t exactly your idea of a seasonal wardrobe refresh, the nail trend that’s about to blow up is the perfect way to get into the spirit of spring/ summer.

Most nail trands came from Korea where insanely good nail artist are working hard everyday. One of them is with Eun Kyun Park (aka @nail_unistella on Instagram). She was the first one who used dry flowers on nails.

This is one of the easiest nail art you can find because it is created by applying mini dried flowers to the nail and sealing it in with a clear topcoat.

In this nail art I used this wheel of dried flowers from Beauty Big Bang.

As you can see from the picture the flowers come in 12 different colours: coral red, blue, light green, dark yellow, lavander purple, ivory white, fucsia, light orange, dusty purple, pink, teal, light yellow.

The colour choice is random and the flowers are approximately 5mm-7mm. There are 2-3 flowers of each color. I love the shape of the flowers, the petals are very thin, you can easly cut them in half if you want to use more colours on the same nail. The center part of some flowers is a bit more thick, I suggest you to use some extra top coat on that part and be very gentle with the petals.

These are really easy to use, with the help of a pair of tweesers you can apply them on a wet nail polish. Then, seal it in with top coat.

BeautyBigBang is a global online retailer for all things beauty (cosmetics, nails, hair, health care, etc). Also, they offer free shipping worldwide for orders that contain more than one item. Delivery time takes 2-4 weeks. You can use my code LAURA for 10% off your order!

I used a set of false clear nails and some nail art flakes from Beauty Big Bang as well.

I left a clear base on the accent nails and used a sheer gold polish for the others nails.

Half moon spring nail art! Water decals from Born Pretty Store

Hello!
Today another nail art featuring some Born Pretty Store products, I've worked with them in the past and I love their nail products, they are affordable and their quality is amazing.
I really liked the set of floral water decals, there are 12 pattern in all colours and styles.
I picked design number A1378  a mix of colourful flowers and butterflies, these colours reminds me of summer or a sunny day in a country side. As you can see from pictures all designs are beautiful and extremely detailed. You won't be disappointed with them.

The application is very easy.
The waterdecals are protected by a transparent sheet. You can select the size and the design you want, cut it with a scissor. Don't forget to remove the plastic sheet. Cut out the section of decals, and let it soak in room temperature water for about 20-30 seconds, slide the decals off the paper backing with tweezers and place on the nails with the white or nude base coat
The instructions suggest to place it on  the nail and blow dry. The last step is to secure it with clear nail polish. In my case with a glossy top coat.

If you decide to give this product a try please don't forget to use my coupon code, it will give you another 10% off:    RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com

I decided to do a halfmoon cut, cutting a curved shape at the base of the water decal. Then I added some silver studs with a bit of clear polish and a dotting tool.

Boho ring set and matching nail art!

Hello!
I've got a super nail mail this month! Why is this super? Because I've got a surprise!

I have a collaboration with Born Pretty Store for nail supplies but this time they were so kind to let me try some of their wonderful jewelry products.
So I tought it was a good idea creating a matching look for nails and rings.

It was really hard to choose; on their shop www.bornprettystore.com this company has a large variety of accessories, from ring set to body jewelry and even bridal head pieces. Prices are very affordable and quality is good
.
The product that I want to show you today is a rings set, it includes 8 rings in different sizes and designs. You don't have to worry about sizing because you have eight to choose from, some can be worn as midi (knuckle rings). The bigger has a diameter of 1.8 cm and the smalles 1,4 cm.

You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com

I think these kind of sets are fun, stilish and great to pair with other rings and bracelets.
All rings are in an antique silver color, they have different shapes and designs.
I love the mix of geometrical shapes to abstract and tribal engraved designs.
The vibrant blue stone and the white crystal make them even more precious.

This set was the inspiration of a matching nail art that I am wearing in pictures.
Stay tuned for the tutorial!

p.s.I also did a little tutting video! Finger dance! :-)

Purple rain and feathers on nails!

Hi there!

I wanted something colourful for spring. My main inspiration was the song Purple Rain. I wanted to add also this wonderful sheet of  tranfer decals from Born Pretty Store. There are four different shades, one in green and yellow, or pink and coral,  blue and petrol, purple and blue. Of course I got the last one! Purple is my favourite colour!
The sheet is quite big so you can use the decals for a lot of manicures. Moreover the feathers are very detailed and come in different stiles and sizes.
You can find them at this link http://www.bornprettystore.com/sheet-colorful-feather-nail-water-decals-transfer-stickers-hn053054055056-p-24095.html

They work as any water decals.

Once you have cut the design you have to remove the plastic top.
This step is very important because if you don't remove the plastic film you will have an unusable water decal.
Soak the piece of the pattern in water for few seconds, then you can slowly slide the decal off the paper backing. It isn't sticky so you have a little bit of time to place it on your nail.
Place it on the nail, smooth the surface and be careful, you might create some air bubbles. It's a good tip to dab the eccess of water with a tissue (or you can blow dry).
Seal the design with a clear top coat.
You can cut the eccess of the decal with some scissors or remove it carefully with a small brush and some nail polish remover.

For those who aren't that talented with freehand art, they are a lifesaver.
The designs are very delicate and the the colours are light so in my opinion they will work better on light and medium shades.

I wanted to add another touch of colour so I decided to do a watercolour effect mixing some pink, purple and light blue nail polish and some alchool, I gently blends the shade on the nails. It looks like water drops or purple rain on nails.

I hope you liked this nail art!

Thanks for reading
