Floral nails with a touch of gold!

Delicate flower nailart with a bit of gold!
Nicole Diary stamping plate ND108 you can find it at Bornprettystore
Id product #46776

This a very nice tiny plate, it has a variety of flowers and plants.
In the first row you find some single flower elements in the second and the first you find delicate and well drawn botanical elements,

Flower designs are very trendy this year and you can add different elements in your nailart.
The plate is very beautiful, it has 15 floral designs, some a more stylized and other more realistic, I think they made happy any flower lovers with this tiny and cute plate. The plate measures  approx. 6*6cm, the images are larger and longer enough to fit larger and longer nails.
The plate comes in a nice paper sleeve and has a blue protective film that needs to be removed before use. The designs are very well engraved on to the stainless steel image plate, images are precise with sharp edges. I had no trouble picking them up.

Abstract pattern! Marble or mimetic?

 Hello!
Today I would like to show you another way to use this cute plate from Beauty Big Bang.
It was super easy with this stamping plate from @beautybigbangs id code BBBS-022

I wanted to use again this cute plate from Beauty Big Bang, the company sent me this and some other product to try.
I think it is great that they have their own production of stamping plates because it means that they will englarge their collection each season. You can find a lot of other stamping plates on their nail stamping section.

At first I had in mind a marble design with a skin tones base and a clear white and gold but it turned out as a mimetic pattern, which I like anyway!

I am really curious to try it with other colours and see what it looks like!

Asian style nailart!

Hello!
I have recently received a nail mail full of wonderful goodies from Born Pretty Store.

If you're not familiar with Born Pretty Store, they're an online store and they offer beauty and nail art supplies. The store offers inexpensive items and free worldwide shipping with no minimum purchase required. I love Born Pretty and have been buying their products for years.

The first product I would like to show you is this layered stamping plate Chinese Style #45508.

You can use my coupon code RASX31 for 10% off on www.bornprettystore.com

This plate is called Chinese style, in fact the plate is clearly inspired to the traditional chinese art, a painting style that involves essentially the same techniques as calligraphy and is done with a brush dipped in black ink or coloured pigments. Landscape painting was regarded as the highest form of Chinese painting, and generally still is, this plate has rolling hills and rivers of their native countryside, sea waves, birds, fishes and animals.

The style is very minimal and each scene is drawn with strong lines, ink wash, or sharp brush strokes.
I decided to use a dark matte blue as base and use other two colours: white and gold.

The plate is very well engraved and I had no problems in picking up the images.

The stamping polishes are both from Born Pretty Store, the gold is  BP-WN01 In Fire, and the white is BP-WN04 Pure,  They stamp perfectly and they are my favourite stamping polishes so far.

Gold filaments over black! Nicole Diary review

Hello,

Today I would like to show you a product from Nicole Diary an online shop that sells nail art and nail related items.
They contacted me and offered some free sample to show you.

The product I want to show you today is a brand new one, I haven't seen it elsewhere so I was really curious to try it.

You can find it at this link:
http://www.nicolediary.com/nicole-diary-nail-strip-colorful-metal-wire-line-matte-mirror-flakies-nail-nail-decoration-p-308.html

Don't forget to use my coupon code for 10% off LAPI10 on www.nicolediary.com

The product is made up by very thin filaments in gold. They are extremely shiny and thin. The material looks like the duo chrome or metallic flakes but cut in thin stripes. I really find interesting this version of the product, it makes the use very versatile and fun.

The product comes in a nice jar with the logo on it, the plastic jar contains 0,1 gr of product and a sponge applicator. There are other colours too: blue, green, pink, purple, red and silver.
It was really hard to pick only one, I would like to try the pink next time!

You can use the product on the entrire lenght of the nails covering almost all the base and creating a full cover metal effect. Or you can use the product with a flakies effect  as I did in this nail art.

I tried to recreate a gradient effect. I started with a black base, then with a brush I made a few brush strokes on the tips of the nail. Then I added one coat of clear nail polish and I gently dabbed the the gold filaments on the nail adding more product on the tips.
I finished the nail art with a matte top coat.

Dry flowers nail art!

This summer my passion for floral patter and motif went even crazier.
I loved the floral print 90s revival or the boho chic version for dresses and accessories.
If head-to-toe flower prints aren’t exactly your idea of a seasonal wardrobe refresh, the nail trend that’s about to blow up is the perfect way to get into the spirit of spring/ summer.

Most nail trands came from Korea where insanely good nail artist are working hard everyday. One of them is with Eun Kyun Park (aka @nail_unistella on Instagram). She was the first one who used dry flowers on nails.

This is one of the easiest nail art you can find because it is created by applying mini dried flowers to the nail and sealing it in with a clear topcoat.

In this nail art I used this wheel of dried flowers from Beauty Big Bang.

As you can see from the picture the flowers come in 12 different colours: coral red, blue, light green, dark yellow, lavander purple, ivory white, fucsia, light orange, dusty purple, pink, teal, light yellow.

The colour choice is random and the flowers are approximately 5mm-7mm. There are 2-3 flowers of each color. I love the shape of the flowers, the petals are very thin, you can easly cut them in half if you want to use more colours on the same nail. The center part of some flowers is a bit more thick, I suggest you to use some extra top coat on that part and be very gentle with the petals.

These are really easy to use, with the help of a pair of tweesers you can apply them on a wet nail polish. Then, seal it in with top coat.

BeautyBigBang is a global online retailer for all things beauty (cosmetics, nails, hair, health care, etc). Also, they offer free shipping worldwide for orders that contain more than one item. Delivery time takes 2-4 weeks. You can use my code LAURA for 10% off your order!

I used a set of false clear nails and some nail art flakes from Beauty Big Bang as well.

I left a clear base on the accent nails and used a sheer gold polish for the others nails.

Gold and black nail art!

Hello!
I recently received a brand new nail mail full of wonderful products from Born Pretty Store.
When I opened the package I was very surprised by how shine and gold they looked.
I wondered for a while what colour to use with them but then I decided to go for a simple black and an accent matte gold nail.

The sheet contains also others patterns: two geometric intricated designs and a vertical chain like stickers.

I feel in love with this geometric mosaic pattern in gold and white. The sheet is approx 11.6 cm x 9 cm. It is enoght for several full manicures.
You can buy it here.
There are others six patterns available all geometric and in gold and white!
If you decide to give these stickers a try please don't forget to use my coupon code, it will give you another 10% off:    RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com

These stickers are very easy to use. I prefer applying them on a dried base colour.
You have to be very careful when you apply the sticker because it might leave some air bubble.
To make sure the nail art will last long you have to apply a top coat. In this case I applied a matte top coat. I think the matte gives this nail art a modern touch!

Then I tried to change a bit this nailart by adding a marble effect on some nails. I used black, white and gold acrylic paint on a white base, I mixed the shades randomly with a thin brush.

I hope you like the result!

Recently I have received some new products for the Born Pretty Store .

Dream catcher nail has been really on trend this year, many tried a free hand drawings and some companies made some stamping plates inspired buy this object and his symbolic use.

A dreamcatcher  is a handmade willow hoop, on which is woven a net or a web. The dreamcatcher may also include sacred items such as certain feathers or beads. Traditionally they are often hung over cradles as protection. It also know as the "spider web charm". Today the dreamcatcher is associated with Native American culture.

I really felt in love with this plate from Born Pretty Store, it shows a big dream catcher at the center and other two on the left and on the right. The remaining space is filled with designs such as feathers cristals and arrows.

The plate comes in a nice paper sleeve and has a blue protective film that needs to be removed before use.
The design is really well engraved and every stamper that I have picks the image very well with no problem.

For this nail art I used a black matte polish as background than I added some purple, light blue and pink creating a smoke or marble effect on three nails and an entire nail on the index.
I stamped with some gold over the black nails and with some black polish over the marble blue/purple index.

On the ring finger I decided to do something different, I applied these wonderful trialgle sequing in two shades: chrome purple and chrome gold.

It is very easy to apply them with a dotting tool over a wet nail polish.

These sequins are part of a collection of 6 colours, all wonderful! There is also another shape available (rhombus). Click this link if you want to have a look at it:
