Sunset in Paris

Hey you!

This is a second nail art using the nightscapes decals from Born Pretty Store. In the previous post I shown you the decals and how to use them.

This second nail art is a bit more complicated.
I wanted a sunset background and I wanted it to look like an impressionist's painting.
I applied a white colour as base.
I used a fan brush and different acrylic colours to recreate this effect.

I dipped the brush in differet shades: yellow, orange, peach pink and light purple.
I used the brush from one side to the next. You can repeat the process to layer and mix the shade until you have this "oil painting" result.

Then I applied the skyline decals the half of the nail and I filled the bottom of the nail until the cuticle with some black nail polish.

I sealed the design with some matte top coat.

You can find a similar fan brush here

See you soon

Ehi guys! Check out my elegant feather nail art tutorial for @nailitmag

http://www.nailitmag.com/nail-art-how-to-elegant-feathers/

Elegant feather nail art

THINGS YOU NEED:

-      Kiko 3 in 1 matte base
-      Pupa Lasting color sheer white
-      Barry M Silk nail paint in Pearl
-      Barry M Royal Glitter collection in Lady ( sparkling glitters nail polish that looks like snow)
-      Barry M Royal Glitter collection in Duchess (sparkling glitters rose/pink undertone with silver glitters)
-       striping thin brush
-       make up sponge

STEP 1:

After using a clear base for all of your nails, start by painting your index and ring finger with the sheer white nail polish. Paint the other three nails with the Barry M silk white. This particular polish has a beautiful silk sheen, the white is pearlescent and almost matte. You can achieve a similar effect with an iridescent white and a matte top coat.

STEP 2:

After the base colour is dry, apply a mix of Barry M glittery nail paint in Lady and Duchess on the corner of a make up sponge. Dab the sponge from the cuticle area to the free edge. Repeat this step until you create a delicate gradient effect.

STEP 3:

Now it’s time for the feather design! With a striping brush and a white nail polish draw a simple curved line from the cuticle to the tip.

STEP 4:

Start building the shape of the feather with some light strokes on each side of the line. You don’t have to be too precise, fill the gaps to create a feather-like effect.  Repeat the design on the ring finger, you can vary the position of the feather as you like.

STEP 5:

To enchancethe design I used the Barry M glitter nail polish in Duchess and placed it along the shaft of the feather. Don’t forget to seal your design with a top coat.

Elegant striping brush review!

Hello everyone,
I have just received some wonderful products from Born Pretty Store. They kindly sent me some items to review for you.
The product that I would like to describe today is this striping brush.
First of all I noticed the elegant packaging in a fancy golden colour with black and silver details.

You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com

The handle works as a cap because you can take it off, and when the cap is on not only it protect the brush but also it became smaller and easier to store.

The brush hair is very thin and flexible, it is perfect to draw lines, small details of patterns and flowers and even outlines.
The bristles are quite long and the tip is very small, These kind of brushes are easy to use for zebra patterns or to make french manicures on short nails.
For other kind of designs you need a bit of practice to achieve a better hand control.
Here are some examples of what you can do with this product.

Triangle Tip Nail Brush review

Hello!
Today I have something different to share with you: a triangle tip nail brush.
I think this brush is specific for 3d acrylic decoration for example to shape petals or leaves, but I don't use acrylic or gel decorations,

I chose this brush for its fine tip, I think it can work well for basic or detailed nail art, with nail polishes or acrylic paint.
The brush is kept in a clear plastic tube, In my opinion this is a fantastic idea because I always have troubles in finding the right way to store all my brushes. Moreover it has another plastic protection for the bristles.

The colour is a nice pink and even the bristles are white and pink. The hair fiber is nylon so it's veg and cruelty free.
At first the briste appair a bit rigid but when you wet it it became more flexible and the tip very thin.

In my opinion this brush is very versatile because you can create thin or thick lines but I think it's perfect to draw flowers and leaves, mixing different shades in one stroke.
It's very easy to clean, if you use acrylic paint you can wash it with water and a delicate soap.

This item was kindly offered by Born Pretty Store.

You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com

That's all for now!

Silver and blue star nail art!

Hi readers!
Few days ago I received some items from Born Pretty Store.
I've never used vinyls stickers so I was quite curious to try and see how they will work..
If you are a newbie in nail art this kind of products are the best because the design is already made and you don't have to be too precise.

They sent me the stencil number NK 03 which contains 12 stencil: 6 with some stars and other six with a leopard print (you can find many other patterns in their site).

You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com

For this nail art I decided to go for the star pattern.

How to use:
First of all you have to apply a base colour.
You can cut the section of the stencil you want to use, remove the transparent paper and stick it on the nail. (Please remember the nails polish have to be completely dried). The stencil is sticky, it will stay on perfectly.

At this stage you can apply a layer of nail polish. But I did something different. I used a make up sponge to dab some colours on the stencil. In this way you can apply the right amount of nail polish and prevent it from smudging moreover you can create an easy ombrée effect with different shades (as I did on one finger mixing pink, blue and purple).

Remove carfully the sticker and finish with a layer of top coat.

For the last touch I used some 3D decoration: these five pointed gold stars I painted in blue to match the nail art.

These kind of decorations are very versatile, they are perfect on the top or the bottom of the nail, there are other 4 colours available: gold, glittery white, white anf black. You can use them to decorate any kind of object and you can glue them on nails with some clear nail polish.
