Broken glass effect with Born Pretty store nail flakies

Hello
@bornprettystore is having huge sale for the Black Friday, there will be free gifts, flash sales and lowest prices.
@bornprettystore

Here is link to their website

In this picture I want to show you two of their amazing products:
The magnetic polish Aurora Snowlight over a dark purple colour. The shade is BP-AS01 Down River

These flakes are so beautful they shift changing constantly on different light angles. They are very thin so you can use them with regular polish but I always suggest to use gel to encapsulate the design.

You can use my coupon code RASX31 for a discount on www.bornprettystore.com

They shift from red to pink to yellow and green.

Here the green blush shift is more visible.

Vintage rose nail art

Ciao!

This is the last nail art with the amazing products Born Pretty Store sent me.
They have a wide range of water decals but I completely feel in love with this pattern; it shows some delicate roses in two shades, a peach pink and an ivory white, on the background you can see some green leaves. The print is very detailed and it will look wonderful on long nails as well as short ones.

This pattern will give a delicate and elegant touch to your style, perfect for weddings too, you could paint all of your nails with a peach pink shade and add the decals only on the accent ring finger.

The waterdecals are protected by a trasparent sheet. You can select the size and the design you want, cut it with a scissor. Don't forget to remove the plastic sheet.
Now you can plunge it into water and wait for 10-20 seconds.
The design will separate from the paper, and it's ready to use.
The instructions suggest to place it on  the nail and blow dry. (I skipped the last part because it's very hot today and the design dried fast). The last step is to secure it with clear nail polish.

Even if your nails are quite long you get enough product to cover all of your ten nails.

I decided to do something more creative with it!

I used a light nail polish as base on the thumb, index and ring finger.

Then I applied the water decals on on the entire nail.

On the middel finger and pink I applied a dark green colour and I added a stamping nails art in gold, a rose pattern that matches the water decal. The stamping plate is from MoYou London, Flower power collection plate 04.

I wanted to add a sparkling touch to the entire look so I painted a line on the side of the thumb and middle finger in gold, then I used a iridescent green paper to create a broken glass effect. ( I used a gift paper wrap).

This is the result. I hope you like it.

Thanks for reading

Shattered glass nail trend!

The shattered glass nail art is a big trend started in Korea by the famous nail artist Unistella.
This nail art is quite easy: segments of an iridescent cellphane or foil are placed directly on a wet nail polish and sealed with a top coat.
I have been looking for this special foil everywhere in Italy, but it was impossible to find in local stores.

The one that I used in this nail art is from Born Pretty Store  , they were so kind to send me this item.
This particular cellophane reflects light like facets on a gemstone or a broken glass.
In the site you can choose between 5 colours, I have shade number 2.

It's really hard to describe this beautiful shade, it is an iridescent and pearlescent pink and the colour changes a lot with different backgrounds.

In this first example I used it on a black nail polish. As you can see the sheer foil shift from light to dark green, blue and golden yellow, the colour change is based on the light (natural or artificial) and the way you decide to layer the stickers.

Here is a short video that show you how bright and iridescent this foil is.

I made this other version on a sheer pink nail polish, in this case the result is very delicate and the shades shift from golden yellow to pink and light green.

I've decided to add some golden decoration triangles. These decorations are ultrathin and very easy to apply on wet clear nail polish. They are quite flexible so they easly bent on the curve of the nail. For a long lasting manicure you can seal the design with a clear top coat.
There are some other shapes available in the Born Pretty Store.

I hope you'll like my nail art idea!
Talk to you soon
