Thermal Sensitive Gel Polish by Born Pretty Store

Hello!
Today I would love to review the Colourful Thermal Sensitive Liquid by Born Pretty Store.
It is a very very sensitive colour changing paint that can change up to 12 different colours depending on the temperature. It truly looks like magic in a pot.
The most common thermal polishes can shift between two or three shades and need a strong temperature change (you have to warm your hand a lot putting them in cold water and hot water to actually see the shift).
This one can work even with just a touch.

you can fin it at this link:

or

Id product # 48176

You can get a 10% discount at @bornprettystore @bornprettyofficial using my code RASX31

The product comes in a jar and looks like a light brown paint, it has a good smell.

You have to use this product over a dark gel base.
How to use:
Apply a layer of gel base and cure
Apply a layer of black gel polish and cure
Apply a layer of Thermal Sensitive liquid and let it hir dry for 2-5 minutes
You have to make a thick layer of product, this is very important because a thin layer won't show the colour shift.
(You will know it dried because it will lose its ligh brown milky colour and turns transparents or starts showing the colour shift)
Apply a layer of top coat to secure the paint.
At this point you can add a decoration or a stamping design that you like (you can also do it before the top coat for a long lasting result).

Here it is a collage of all the colour shift I have experieced.

And here from top to down, from hot to mild temperature.

Here it is a short video where I show you the colour shift:

This is at the warmest temperature

and them it shift to colder temperature

Thermal polish! Truth of lie! Born Pretty Store

A thermal nail polish is a varnish that is going to change its colour depending on the temperature of the environment.
The colour that I have chosen is number "DT12 Truth of lie" a dark black with a brown and burgundy understone  in cold environment and a very light nude in hot temperature.
id code # 43620
You can find it at Born Pretty Store online shop.

You can get a 10% discount at @bornprettystore @bornprettyofficial using my code RASX31

I was very curious to try some colour changing gel polish because you can have two different styles in a moment, your nail polish will change throught out the day a lot of times and most of the time it will create an ombrèe effect between the two colours.

I really love the transition between the two colours it creates a beautiful effect and the thermal polish who can shift from dark to light are very rare.

The fact that it is a gel nail polish makes the colour changing more durable and the nail art last longer
.

It very easy to apply it:

Fully shake up the polish, it can make the polish color be balanced.

Apply a thin layer of Base Coat and cure under nail lamp.
Apply 1st layer of Thermal Gel and cure under nail lamp again.
Apply 2nd layer of Thermal Gel and cure under nail lamp again.
Apply No Wipe Gel Top Coat and cure under nail lamp again. Or regular Top Coat but remove the tacky surface with cotton soaked with cleanser or 95°alcohol after curing.

Thermal polish from Born Pretty Store

Hello!
In this post I would like to focus more on this amazing thermal stamping polish in the shade BP-I02 Hoh Xil id code # 42853. There are others 12 shades in the collection, all colours are amazing. I will order some other colours very soon.

COLOR CHANGING THERMAL polish. When your body is warm, it is a fushia/magenta color and when your body is cold, it is a beautiful deep and dark burgundy colour, it depends on your actual body temperature at the time and the surrounding temperature.

As you can see the shift is very visible, I am sure it will surprise you as well.

During the changing of colors process, your nails will have an ombre effect on them. It is so beautiful.
This is a stamping polish, it is perfect for stamping and this means that it is very pigmented and a high coverage product. It is also matte to help the stamper pick it up, I used it for stamping in this post and worked perfectly.

You can also simply use it as regular polish, you need just one or two coat for complete coverage,

Colour changing nail art with hidden floral decoration

Hello!
today it's time for a phototutorial.

Few moth ago I received a set of nail polishes as a prize, the nail polishes are from an indie brand called Parrot Polish. These shades were expecially created for the contest! This company was founded in 2014, and it is family owned. Their nail polishes are wonderful and 100% cruelty free and 5-free marker, they offer a wide range of colours. finishes, and also some thermal polishes! You can have look at their site here:
http://www.parrotpolish.com/home.html

It took me bit to realize that one of the shade they sent me was a thermal colour changing shade, what a wonderful surprise! They called it "exclusive real".When your hands are cold or the weather outside is cool the nail polish has a beautiful dark magenta colour but when your hands are warm it turns into a sheer pink nude shade.

Since the shade is sheer I tought it was a good idea to create a two layers nail art. So when the nail polish turns clear it will reveal the nail art underneath.

Step 1
Apply a white sheer base coat

Step 2
when the base is dry, stamp a floral patter (this is from MoYou London flower power 04.
I used a dark pink shade, dark enough to be visible but not too dark when the polish turn into a magenta shade). For a more pecise placement I used a clear stamper, in this way I was able to where to put the design.

Step 3
When the floral design is dry, add two layer of the thermal polish.

Step 4
Second stamping layer in white. This last layer will be more visible when the polish will turn dark.

Step 5
For the rest of the nails I used a glitter gray polish

This is the result. The temperature in Italy is very hot so I had to use cold and warm water. I really like the transition effect too. If your nail are long and the temperature is mild you will get this effect because the nail's tips are cooler when exposed to air.

For this nail art the clear gelly stamper was essential because I needed to see exactly where to place the design. This kind of stamper allow you to see throught, the head is transparent and it has a hollow tube holder. I found it very useful when you have to stamp small designs on the side or the center of the nail.
The head is bit more firm than a marshmallow stamper. It's easier to pick up the image with a small pressure and roll movement.
As you can see from pictures it stamps very well and it come with a small scraper. I got mine from Born Pretty Store and you can find it at this link:
