Multi layered flower plates

Hello!
Today I'm sharing my recent nail mail of stamping plates from Born Pretty Store.
Like the previous one it is a multilayering stamping plate. These plates are quite unique, they're designed to be used to layer stamping images on top of each other to add depth, colour, patterns and outlines. They are meant to be used with clear stampers so that placement is precise.

Clear nail stampers can help line up the design so it’s straight on your nails. the applicator for the stamping process is crystal clear so the artist can place the stamp exactly in position. This also allows for layering in different colours without the previous disastrous results from stamping “blind”.

The plates has many gorgeous flowers design such has daisy, rose, carnation, jasmine, there are also some cute butterflies.
I believe this plate is less well engraved than others from this brand, but if you use a super sticky stamper it will be fine.

These plates are available from www.bornprettystore.com

Red glitter peel off nail polish

Hello there!

As you know I was recently  contacted by Born Pretty Store to review some more products for you guys.

If you're not familiar with Born Pretty Store, they're an online store and they offer beauty and nail art supplies. The store offers inexpensive items and free worldwide shipping with no minimum purchase required. I love Born Pretty and have been buying their products for years.

Today I would like to share with you my first impression on their brand new peel off nail polishes.

The colour I picked is Winter Light BP-FV04  # 44292  . Is is a beautful cool toned red with delicate holo glitter. I really like this shade, is delicatete and elegant.

What makes this polish special is the fact that it is a peel off polish, It is means that this is a water-based nail polishes that can be peeled off. You just have to gently loosen the edges, and they come off in one go.

I love this kind of polishes because you do not need acetone for removal you can switch colour very easily and match your outfit, moreover you won't get the acetone smell around your house anymore.

These kind of polishes have no smell and dry fast, you don't need acetone to remove it so it is gentle to the nails.

As far as I can say my first impressions of the formula are positive, it is a little less liquid than normal polish, is more like a gel and it quite easy to apply on the nail, it is a little bit sheer but since it has glitters the effect is beautiful. You need two or three coats for full opacity.

The peel off formula is great for glitters, with normal polishes glitters are a nightmare to take off , with a peel off formula is super fast and easy!

I can't say about how long it will lasts and how it peels off, these are just my first impressions, I will update you soon about these matters.

Born Pretty Store Only you Shell Top coat

Hello there,
I have got a new nail mail from Born Pretty Store!
They are currently celebrating their 7th anniversary and they are celebrating with a huge sale from the 10th to the 20th of October!
Check out their site www.bornprettystore.com I am sure you will find something interesting!

I suggest you to have a look at their nail polishes, lately they released their own line of nail polishes, you can find uv gel polishes, regular polish, special effect top coat, chamelion, matte, glossy, mirror, thermal, anything you had ever dreamt of!

Today I would like to show one of their more recent special top coat. It is called Only you and it is part of the "Transparent Shell shimmer collection".
The collection is made up by 5 polishes in 5 different delicate and sheer shades. The aim is to replicate the exquisit perlescent shine of a sea shell or mother pearl.
 It was very hard to pick only one and they have beautiful name too. Moonstone is a delicate blue, Moolight has red and rose pink undertones, Jade Sky has subtle green turquioise tint, Moonsky Glow has a yellow gold finish. It would be nice to get the entire collection and try a rainbow effect!

You can find the at this link:
http://www.bornprettystore.com/born-pretty-transparent-shell-glimmer-nail-polish-shiny-glitter-nail-lacquer-varnish-polish-p-40631.html

The one that I have picked is a delicate purple with a delicate yellow duochrome: Only you.
The most interesting thing about these polishes is that they give different effect on different colours.

I filmed a shot video to show you the application on different colours.

As you can see it has a very interesting formula. It transform a lot on darker shade adding a purple tint to the base, for example a matte black polish will become a pearlescent dark purple, on light colours it gives a shine and shimmer glossy finish.

I tried a before and after on white and this is the result:

At this point I was curious to try it on other shades.
These pictures show the before and after:

The polosh is a bit cloudy so it brightens up a bit every colour.
Berry burgundy-> more purple
grey/purple-> purple
green-> lighter turquoise
yellow gold-> light pearl yellow
rose gold-> pink with purple undertone

The polish has a big and rounded brush, I found it perfect for this kind of polish because you have to be careful not to leave stricky parts and make it as even as possible.

I hope you'll fin this review useful!

Let me know what you think!

Love Laura
