Peacock feather nail art
Hello everybody!
Today I would like to show you a colourful nail art for summer!
I recently received some items from Born Pretty Store. They were so kind to let me chose some items and send me some samples to try.
I choose a peacock pattern water decals and some triangle nail art decorations. (click on name for the link). I think these two items match perfectly for a nail art.
You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com
It was my fist time with water decals but I can say these were pretty easy to use.
The waterdecals are protected by a trasparent sheet. You can select the size and the design you want, cut it with a scissor. Don't forget to remove the plastic sheet.
Now you can plunge it into water and wait for 10-20 seconds.
The design will separate from the paper, and it's ready to use.
The instructions suggest to place it on the nail and blow dry. (I skipped the last part because it's very hot today and the design dried fast). The last step is to secure it with clear nail polish.
You can cover the whole nail but i decided to do something more creative.
I used a white nail polish as base and I applied the decals vertically or across the nail leaving some space and adding a gold sand effect nail polish (from Essence).
The design is beautiful, there are some peacock feather, a colorful and iridescent plumage, and the main colour are light blue and yellow. The design it's perfect and you can't achieve this detailed drawing with stamping or free hand.
On two nails I used white, yellow and light blue and I added some decorations.
These decoration are very particular, they are triangular and have a delicate texure. I like it in golden but you can find them in silver too. You can apply them with a dotting tool and some clear nail polish used as glue. They are quite small so they stay well on nails.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks for reading!

Pink flower nail art with Born Pretty Store stickers
Hello!
Today I've received some products from Born Pretty Store.
The first product that I would like to show you is this sheet of pink flowers stickers.
You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com
You can find it at this link, I chose #1 decoration
http://www.bornprettystore.com/sheet-pink-flower-nail-stickers-chic-floral-nail-tips-stamping-decals-p-20480.htmlhttp://www.bornprettystore.com/sheet-pink-flower-nail-stickers-chic-floral-nail-tips-stamping-decals-p-20480.html
The sheet will arrive in a plastic bag that prevents it from any damage.
The stickers are all individuals and very easy to use.
Make sure your nail is clean or your nail polish is completely dry. Select a design and peel it off the transparent sheet. Than place the desing on your nail, rub it gently so that you can prevent air bubbles. Apply a layer of top coat for the best result.
The stickers are in different sizes so that can fit fingernail, toe nail or nail tips.
The design it's really delicate, a silver outline and some light pink flowers and blossoms.
You can use it with light colours, it goes well with white, pink and light blue but I think it stands better on darker ones.
That's why I created this simple nail art.
The base is a simple black nail polish, then I created a "distressed effect" with two metal colours a purple from Ceramic Effect Layla n CE71 and essence 29 paradise.
Then I applied Born Pretty Store's stickers,
To give and edgy effect I left half of the ring finger nail clear.
This is the final result.
I hope you'll like it!

Gold clovers for spring!
Hi there!
Sping is in the air and I felt in the mood for a bold and elegant nail art.
As base I've used Essence 01 Mauve like a rockstar from the limited edition Rebels. This is a pink/taupe colour with a mixture of brown and purple. This nail polish has a latex finish, it's a semi matte (not too matte not too shiny). This shade has also a bit of shimmer that prevent it from looking complete flat and dull.
I've found this look very interesting and for this reason I didn't use any top coat to cover this effect.
I decided to stamp with Barry M Gold.
I used Born Pretty Store plate for stamping BP plate 50
I chose the the clovers design, it's very intricate and delicate perfect for a spring nail art. In fact, under the sun light the effect of the gold polish combined with the latex finish stands out a lot.
It's very easy to stamp with Born Pretty Store plates, all images are well engraved and don't require cleaning after each transfer.
I highly reccomend this BPS plate. You can find it at this link.

Sheer lace nail art
Hello!
Today I'm going to show you how to do this lace effect design using a sheer black nail polish.
You can buy one, there are a lot available on the market (for this tutorial I've used L'Oreal top coat smoky) or you can make your own mixing a clear nail polish with a few drops of simple black nail polish.
I was ispired by a blouse that I recently bought. I liked the idea of a light pink shade combined with a sheer lace design.
Fist of all I've painted all my nails with 3 coats of Essie "Not just a pretty face". I wanted a delicate effect so I decided to do a stamping design only on two nails.
The stamping is made with Born Pretty Store plate n° 48
You can find it at this link:

And don't forget to use my discount coupon for 10% off at check out : RASX31
The next step consists in covering the design only with one coat of the sheer black nail polish.
Hope you'll like it!
That's all for now!

Arabesque nail art
Hello!
You know lately I’ve received some Born Pretty Store products, so this
week I decided to play a little bit more with born pretty store plate 48. When I
received his plates I was immediately fascinated by the arabesque design.
You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31 on www.bornprettystore.com
These kind of designs are my favourite because you can have a sightly different
design on each finger. These designs have decorations
based on rhythmic linear patterns of scrolling and interlacing flowers,
foliage, tendrils or plain lines. As you can see the design is very large so you can decide which part of the design
you want on your nails. Since the plate is well engraved and beautifully
crafted,. I had no
problem in picking up the image with a stamper.
I thought this
was the right pattern for reverse stamping technique; with this method you can
easly create coloured decals to apply on your nails. So I decided to create
this nail art and play a bit more with colours: I used blue, purple, dark yellow and glitter gold to give a 3d effect
over a white base. I’ve cut the decals
in different shapes and I applied them on nails with a clear nail polish.
This is the
result
I hope you’ll
like it
Thanks for

Purple and silver nail art with Born Pretty Store Stamping plate
Hello!
Today I would like to show you this nail art.
For the base I I used a white nail polish. I wantend to create a tye dye effect so I used some acrylic paint in pink, purple and light blue and I used water to gently blend and control colours.
This is the result with top coat:
For stamping I used this Born Pretty Store plate (click to open the link if you want to buy it)
BORN PRETTY STORE PLATE BP-50 (click on the name to open the link)
You can use my coupon code at check out to get 10% off RASX31
Designs are quite large so that they can fit on long or wide nails. The round plate is divided in 4 sections: the first one show a marble effect pattern, I think it would look great with a combination of bright colours, the second one is full of hearts and it's perfect for Valentine's Day, the third one is made up of clovers, very useful in spring or for Saint Patrick's Day. The last one shows abstracts shapes. I felt in love with the last one, very edgy and versatile, so I decided to use it for my nail art.
For stamping I used Barry M Instant foil effect nail polish in silver, I wanted a sheer effect on index and ring finger. Then I added a silver stud art the base of two nails.
Thanks for reading!

White and gold nail art with Born Pretty Store products
Hello everyone!
Today I would like to review some products from Born Pretty Store. This is an on-line store that sells a wide range of products from clothing to make up and beauty, of course nail art tools too!!!
They were so kind to send me some products to review. I was really inspired so I decided to do a nail art with some of them and share my impressions with all of you.
Moreover you can use my coupon code at check out, you will get 10% off your order! RASX31
As base I used a Barry M polish, new Silk collection in white pearl
I was really facinated by this stamping plate
Born Pretty 48
BORN PRETTY STORE PLATE 48 (click on the name if you what to know more)
The round plate BP 48 gas a wide variety of designs: two remind me of an arabesque pattern, then a peony or a rose, a nice butterfly and a lace design. The plate is 5,6 cm (diameter); designs are very large they can fit on longer and wide nails. the plate comes with a protective blue plastic cover which prevent it from scratches and damages but it needs to be removed before stamping. The quality is very high and the design is very detailed.
I decided to stamp with the Gold Nail Art Stamping Polish Born Pretty
Born Pretty Store Gold Stamping polish is a yellow toned gold with some sparkling glitters. The formula is very thick and pigmented, for this reason it's perfect for stamping. I can say it gives a really good result even if used as a regular polish (as you can see on my pinky).
I stamped the rounded part of the arabesque over my point and ring finger, on my pinky I stamped with a white polish over the golden polish.
For index and ring finger I created an half moon and I added some ultra thin charming decoration (click if you want to know more).
These charms are very thin. I placed them on a layer of top coat. Finally I decided to add two White Pearl Flat Nail Studs (click to open the link). I love these pearls I think they give an elegant touch to the whole nail art.
You can see in this short video how easily you can apply these 3d decorations
