Madam Glam cat eye gel polish! Galaxy in a bottle! Surprise for you!

Today I have some new amazing product to show you!

They also sent me some tool for removal and the magnet for the cat eye nail polish, the shipping was super fast, the packaging box is very elegant, there were also instruction on how to use the products.

It was my first time with gel polishes and I had no problem at all, everything worked perfectly, the process was simple and fast.

The first shade I would like to show you is and amazing cat eye gel polish "Galactic Mist".


It is a magnetic nail polish, a new trend in nail design that uses iron filings in the polish that respond to a magnet to form different shapes and effects on the surface of the nail. You need a magnet to make it work so please don't forget to buy one.

On the Madam Glam website, they suggest to apply the gels on a black base. I actually  applied the gel on some dark burgundy tips and the result was amazing.

I really like the formula, it is very pigmented the iron particles are quite dense, so they usually sink to the base layer of the polish as it’s applied. When you place the magnet over the nail, the iron particles rise toward the surface and stay there due to the curing effect of the UV lamp.

Compared to others normal magnet polishes I think the cat eye effect is a lot more visible and effective.
I really like the colours, the base is a blue tones purple  and the iron filing pigment is a golden orange. The magic galaxy in a bottle is here, it really looks like a bound system of stars, stellar remnants, interstellar gas, dust, and dark matter. I think this affect is amazing and I am never tired of looking at it!

Instructions:
1. After base coat applied and cured apply one layer of black gel polish and cure.
2.Shake your Cat Eye bottle
3. Apply one layer of your cat eye color. DO NOT CURE!
4. Hold the magnet stick close to the nail in the position where you want the 3D effect
5. Once you have the effect you want, cure under LED (30sec.) or UV Lamp (2min.)
6. Apply top coat and cure. Your Cat Eye Nails are ready with an awesome 3D effect.
 You can create multiple effects by repeating the steps and holding the magnet in different positions over your nails.

The first item I would like to review is this amazing glitter rose gold polish. It's name is Old Love BP-EL06 id code is # 43162. The formula is very good and it is easy to apply, I only had to dip my brush once to get a balaced mix of the three different sized glitters.

I think these kind of glitter polished are great for layering and to create a gradient glitter nail art.

A gradient nail art with a glitter polish is super easy and fast:
- Start with a base coat and a base colour. for this nail art I used a light delicate pink but I can see these glitters working well with any other shades, even the darker ones.

- I applied some glitters directly on the tip of the nail, then you can drag some of the glitters forward the center of the nail. You can also use a sponge for this step if you like.

This year Spring is not arrived yet, it is a bit cold and rainy all the time. So I tought it wold be a nice idea to chear me up with a floral nail art.

I am trying to experiment more with colours and texures out of my comfort zone. I wanted to use again this cute plate from Beauty Big Bang, the company sent me this and some other product to try. 

I think it is great that they have their own production of stamping plates because it means that they will englarge their collection each season. You can find a lot of other stamping plates on their nail stamping section.

Quest'anno la Primavera si sta facendo aspettare, fa ancora un po' freddo e piove spesso. Per questo motivo ho pensato di tirarmi un po' su di morale con una nail art a tema floreale.
Sto provando a sperimentare di più con colori e texures inusuali. The plate is very beautiful, it has six floral designs, some a more stylized and other more realistic, I think they made happy any flower lovers with this tiny and cute plate. The plate measures  approx. 6*6cm, the images are larger and longer enough to fit larger and longer nails.

The plate comes in a nice paper sleeve and has a blue protective film that needs to be removed before use. The designs are very well engraved on to the stainless steel image plate, images are precise with sharp edges. I had no trouble picking them up.

La placchetta è molto bella, ha sei disegni floreali, alcuni più stilizzati altri più realistici. Credo che la scelta del design di questa piccola placchetta renda felice qualsiasi amante dei fiori. Misura circa 6 x 6 cm e i disegni sono grandi abbastanza per le unghie di tutte le misure.

La placca è contenuta in una confezione di carta e ha una pellicola protettiva blu che deve essere rimossa prima dell'uso. La decorazione è incisa molto bene sulla superficie di acciaio inossidabile, le immagini sono precise e dai contorni netti. Non ho avuto nessun problema a trasferire l'immagine sullo stamper.

In the last post I tried the daisies design. Today I wanted some more wild flowers on my nails.  

As you can see the designs are various and versatile, suitable to countless manicure ideas and it is great for coloured nail art and reverse stamping techinique.

Nell'ultimo post ho provato il decoro con le margherite. Oggi volevo altri fiori selvatici sulle mie ugnhie. Come potete vedere i decori presenti su questa placchetta sono vari e molto versatili, si possono realizzare infinite nail art a credo sia perfetta per manicure colorate le tecnica di stamping avanzato (o reverse).

 I stamped with the Metal Nail Art Stamper & Scraper (J2914TM-1A ) and then I coloured some flowers with reverse stamping technique.

Ho usato come stamper il Metal Nail Art Stamper & Scraper (J2914TM-1A ) e in seguito ho colorato alcuni fiori con la tecnica di stamping avanzato.

 Here is a picture of the reversed stamping, I filled some flowers with a bright coral nail polish.

I decided to use a pastel colour palette with light blue and light coral and peach tones. In particular I used two nail polishes from P2, they are from the crisp collection and they are texured, moreover they have some small sable particles in different colour. They are very interesting. I also addes two drop shaped stud in a bright orange.

Come ho già anticipato, ho usato una palette di colori pastello con azzurro chiaro, corallo e toni pescati. In particolar ho usato due smalti del brand P2, sono della collezione "crisp" e hanno una particulare texure ruvida con particelle in diversi colori. Sono molto particolari. Ho aggiunto anche due borchiette a forma di goccia in un color arancio brillante.
